3 Things Every Founder Should Know

I love working with founders. If you're a founder looking for an executive coach, I'll save you the trouble and sum it all up for you:

  1. Get out of Asana! Or basecamp. Or whatever project management tool your leaders use with their teams. Your time and energy are best spent doing your actual job (see below).

  2. Stop having Serious Conversations over Slack! Or text. Google doc comments. It doesn't work. It just doesn't.

  3. Take a vacation! Your team will thank you for it.

Do these things and you'll have time and energy to do your actual job, which is to:

  1. Establish a BIG shared vision and goals for where you are taking your company.

  2. Communicate that vision internally and to the world, 1:1, to many, verbally, written, through conversations, speeches, articles, and through your actions.

  3. Empower and trust your leadership team to realize your shared vision and goals.

You're welcome.

PS, you can send your vacation pics to me at donna@donnalichaw.com.
